Pricing
Model Gate is a metered, pay-as-you-use service. There is no general subscription fee unless a separate plan or written agreement expressly states otherwise.
How Charges Are Calculated
The price of a request may depend on:
- the selected model;
- input and output token usage;
- cached or uncached tokens;
- image, audio, file or tool usage;
- request mode and technical features;
- upstream provider pricing; and
- the rate displayed in the customer dashboard when the request is processed.
Current model-specific prices are displayed in the Model Gate dashboard and API documentation. Those displayed rates form part of the applicable pricing terms.
Example
Where a model is priced per one million tokens, the charge is calculated proportionally from the metered input and output token totals using the applicable input and output rates.
Estimated token counts or pre-request estimates are informational. Final billing is based on the usage recorded after processing.
Payments
- Minimum top-up: USD 5.00.
- Maximum single top-up: USD 1,000.00.
- Checkout currency: USD.
- Applicable VAT is included in consumer checkout prices where chargeable.
- Service credits expire one year after purchase.
- Service credits cannot be withdrawn or transferred.
Price Changes
Model and provider costs may change. Model Gate may update future pricing to reflect provider prices, currency movements, taxes, infrastructure, compliance or operational costs.
A revised rate applies to requests processed after the revised rate becomes effective. It does not retroactively alter charges already recorded.
