Distinguish request submission, result retrieval and external provider terms.
Gateway and provider
The B2B LLM gateway accepts requests and forwards them over an available route. Features depend on the model, API format and granted access. Direct access has separate connection details; it should not automatically be treated as gateway traffic.
Synchronous and asynchronous work
A synchronous result returns in the current HTTP response. For an asynchronous operation, first obtain the operation ID, then use the documented status or result request. For video, the JSON result and the MP4 are different resources.
Temporary results have limited availability. Follow the relevant operation fields and documentation, and retrieve files before expiry. Reading status does not start a new generation; expiry does not entitle a request to be repeated free of charge.
Storage and processing
Privacy describes data handling. Retrieval does not by itself delete every related record; retention periods differ between operations. Agree external-provider terms before sending sensitive data.
Reviewing results
AI can return inaccurate or incomplete answers. Review material conclusions; a successful API response does not make the generated text a verified fact.
