Wallet lookup

Read the wallet only with a principal authorized for company finance.

GET /v1/balance returns the billing account's current balance when the credential has permission to view it. A company wallet is not a collection of per-key child balances. Project usage access alone does not grant wallet visibility.

Keep the returned decimal string exact in financial code. Do not convert it to a binary floating-point value for reconciliation. A display can round for readability, but the saved transaction amounts remain authoritative.

Owner/organization administrator and authorized company billing access are distinct from developer/viewer project roles. Shared project selection in Playground does not promote the employee to the credential creator's wallet permission. Owner automation can alternatively use the Partner balance endpoint.
